Adventure pups come in all sizes and sometimes our fixed-length Lifetime Collar doesn't always fit, which is why we've designed our Lifetime Lite lineup to be adjustable. We use the same magnetic buckle as our Lifetime Harness to allow for easy-on/easy-off comfort while still being secure. Finished with a rust-free aluminum D-ring that keeps the weight down, alongside bartack stitching for ultimate strength.

For pups that fall in-between Lifetime Collar sizes, the Lite has a more traditional adjustable design with a magnetic buckle that makes it quick to remove.

I like this product. I would consider buying it again, and Atlas has always been great with support. The collar has nice materials, solid build quality, and a cool magnetic latching system, but there is one flaw that is not an issue on cheaper collars with a traditional strap buckle.
The magnetic clasp system is a bit finicky in two regards. First, because of the angle of the the lever that releases the latch, your dog can and will scratch it off eventually if they often scratch their neck. My dog flings his off about once a month. It's not often, but it happens. Usually he then brings us straight to it and stares at it, requesting us to put his collar back on haha. He's an inside dog, so this occasional comedy is not really a big deal for us.
Second, the latch usually works great, but a little bit of magnetic debris or dust (which the magnet attracts and will hold onto pretty stubbornly) will cause it not to latch. It has a little recessed area where the magnet lives, and it's a bit difficult to clear of magnetic debris since it wants to stick to the magnet and is a tight space for fingers.
These aren't major complaints for us, but I do think it's worth noting in case your dog is outside in a large area often, the collar could be scratched off and lost, and you do need to occasionally inspect and remove debris (and pay close attention to make sure it has fully latched).

Awesome collar. The magnetic clip works great. Has yet to breakaway or come apart, and my dog is pretty “ruff” on things.

Love the collar! Easy to put on, they come in nice colors. Great alternative to lifetime collar which isn't made for dogs with 12/14" necks. Fast shipping and good communication re: order!
